The Malta Visual and Performing Arts School (MVPA) is a secondary school which was opened in Malta in September 2017.
The school provides students with all the normal subjects but places a special emphasis on the art forms. Students have a choice from five art forms in which they will be educated. These are Dance, Drama, Music, Visual Art, and Media. The logo includes all five, while creating a dynamic and energetic feel to it.
The band ‘Ellipse’ decided to rebrand itself, including a new logo. As with most band logos, it was important to have the name as part of the logo itself.
Because Ellipse has a specific mathematical meaning I went to that for inspiration. An ellipse is a shape created around two points where the distance from point a, to the shape, and then to point b, is always the same. The “square” shape depicted by the word ellipse, is a representation of this with the “e”s being the two points.
For those with a less friendly relationship with Maths, it’s funny because it says ellipse while showing a square. Haha.
In its clean form
Due to its bold block shapes, the logo may be used in white over footage when the band releases videos.
Plexus is an annual event organised by the mcyn bringing together all youth leaders in Malta. The event aims at creating a network of groups and leaders to share sources, people, and experiences. The idea for the logo took a lot from the meaning of plexus in nature. A plexus usually refers to group of nerves or roots, and therefore: roots.
The Bonny Baker is a trio of sisters who work together to create delicious items.
Their logo, officially, is the full figure, with the green patterned circle, and the text at the bottom. They did need other versions of it to create stickers and to print on packaging and so on though, and therefore the three versions you see here.
The back to back B’s form a butterfly because they are always so joyful and happy.
